Adel Ebraheem, O.D.

 

Dr. Ebraheem earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tripoli University in 2005 and subsequently completed an internship there in 2006. In 2011, he advanced his education in cornea and corneal refractive surgery at the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology, part of the Università Della Svizzera Italiana in Switzerland. He later achieved a Master's Degree with distinction in vision science from Pacific University in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles/Doheny Eye Institute. He then received a Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2021. Dr. Ebraheem has published numerous articles in esteemed journals. He has also undertaken various internships and residencies throughout the United States and internationally. Maryland Governor Wes Moore has appointed him as an Optometry Board examiner in the Department of Health in 2024. Dr. Ebraheem has been a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 2025.
